I learned the hard way that this plant likes a lot of moisture, now it’s planted at the edge of my pond and flourishing. Apparently once ‘well’ established in can handle drought, but it’d probably just go dormant and give you the side eye.
So, moist to wet soil is good.
Full sun to part shade.
Spreads quickly once happy.
Can self seed so deadhead if you don’t want that.
Good for pots-keep moist!
Grows about 24” tall in bloom
Winter sow or start indoors -just make sure they don’t dry out
