Perennial (though, short lived)
You’ll often see the species form of this one out in our gardens with small purple flowers
This variety has pale pink and looks really gorgeous when you allow it grow in groups
Deer resistant
Full sun
Drought tolerant
Needs well drained soil
Will self seed, you can cut back after flowering-which will also promote more flowering
Grows about 4’ tall, give or take
I have mine with Cerastium tomentosum around it. The nice thing is-it fills in blank spots between other things in a delicate, airy way.
Easy to pull if it grows where you don’t want it.
Butterflies love it.
Cut Flower
You can give it a Chelsea Chop if you want it fuller and shorter
Sow in situ in disturbed soil any time.
