Sharp. Handle with leather gloves.
Very drought tolerant, though they do like some moisture for optimal performance and more flowers.
Needs good drainage.
Excellent cut flower.
Deer resistant in my garden (my deer don’t have armoured mouths I guess).
Full sun
Will self seed abundantly, deadheading will prevent that. They do look amazing en masse though…
They pair beautifully with dainty ornamental grasses
Bees go NUTS for them, mine are always absolutely covered.
They flower mid/late summer.
