Looks like a regular wide leaf grass until adorable fuzzy flowers come up mid summer.
They start off white and then age to cream and pale brown.
If you cut them, they’ll continue to repeat the cycle.
They’re fine in full sun or part shade. I grow mine in a pot near my pond as the light is so pretty on the fuzzballs.
Lovely for a children’s garden or adding whimsy.
Sow indoors under lights in Feb/March and plant out after all chance of frost.
There are five ‘tails’ per packet, each tail has tons of seeds. One or two will grow a full 1 gallon sized pot worth of grass.
