Aquilegia "Cerulean Blue" (my name for it)

$3.00

Perennial, sometimes short lived

Late spring blooming
Low mounding form, about 16”
This is the bluest variety of Columbine I’ve seen or grown. It does still have a bit of purple in it, but it’s not mauve. Yay!
Prolific bloomer
Full to part sun
Any soil other than soaking wet
Will self seed prolifically and cross if any other colours are nearby.
Deadheading early will prevent this if you don’t want seedlings.
Easy care.

In the second pic you can see I’ve got it growing next to golden millet grass and boy does that ever look snazzy.

Sow in situ, start indoors or winter sow, they’re slutty, it doesn’t really matter.
